I haven't concluded the problem isn't Sierra or QNAP, but I have confirmed that the problem is isolated to only QNAP when using MacOS Sierra. My printers for example can be seen just fine. Also worth noting, I can see Bonjour devices from Safari directly (advanced preference enabled) - so it's only my QNAPs (both of them) that are invisible to Sierra. The problem seems to be isolated with MacOS Sierra.

Qfinder Pro works fine on another laptop on the same network but using Yosemite. I did however check Bonjour settings on my access point and all seems to be working fine. This is obviously not the case - internet connection works fine. A Mac cannot run a version of OS X or macOS that is older.
